Reading authentic world literature

Reading authentic world literature is an integral part of English lessons at our school.

The students of 6b read the short stories “Six feet of the country” by Nobel Prize winner Nadine Gordimer and “Dead Men’s Path” by Chinua Achebe in order to get a deeper insight into the issues of colonialism, cultural conflicts and Apartheid/racial segregation.
